
NORMAN WALTERS

Norman Walters is the founder of Walters Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC (WCRE), and has spent the last 40 years in the Southeast CRE sector building lasting relationships, developing properties with skill and finesse, and working on projects with life-long clients.
As a strong believer in community outreach and service, Norman has held many roles within the Charlotte community. He is an Elder of Myers Park Presbyterian Church, he also served as the President of the Carolinas Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He held the positions of Chairman of Mecklenburg Community Corrections, Inc., Chairman of the Board of Managers of the James J. Harris Family YMCA, and Chairman of the Board of Managers for YMCA Camp Harrison at Herring Ridge. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the YMCA of Greater Charlotte. Additionally, he has served as the President of the Hornets Nest Kiwanis Club, as well as the Charlotte Chapter Trustee of Speedway Children’s Charities.
Norman lives in Charlotte with his wife Elaine and has five grown children, two of whom work with him at WCRE.
Norman earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Newberry College where he played soccer.
